Membership in the Lynnwood Farnam Society is free but is highly selective. According to Article VII of the Lynnwood Farnam Society Articles of Constitution (1931), LFS members must:

  1. Be of sound mind
  2. Be of a generous and hearty spirit
  3. Meet with the approval of the Executive Council of the Lynnwood Farnam Society
Membership enquiries should be addressed to lynnwoodfs@yahoo.ca and should include your full name, your gender, your highest degree or diploma attained (none are necessary for admission), your city and province/state/country, a brief (two- or three-line) explanation of why you would like to become a member, and the name of a current LFS member who will vouch for you. If you do not know any current members, you may instead include a detailed description of what you feel you could contribute to the Society. Membership applications will be voted upon by the Executive Council and successful applicants will become full members of the Lynnwood Farnam Society (affiliated with the chapter nearest them), with all the privileges that membership entails.
