CONGREGATIONAL  NEWS & EVENTS
UCW Happy Lunchers -- The September meeting of the UCW will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 13th, at 12:00 noon at the home of Betty Robertson (16 Waterthrush Crescent in Kanata). Lunch will be served. All ladies welcome. Hope to see you there.

Our Annual Church Supper will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22nd, 2011. More details to follow.

Grocery Vouchers Cards are available for purchase every Sunday.  It is a great way to help the church with their finances. We have cards in the values of $25.00, $50.00, $100.00 and $250.00 and they are useable at all Superstores, Loblaws, Independents and No Frills. Please see Marilyn Ferguson downstairs after the service.

Penny Fund: There is a clear plastic container at the back of the church in which you are invited to place pennies and other change.  The UCW will use the proceeds to support Camp Awesome and other projects.
MUSIC AND CHOIRS
Welcome back!  All are invited to join the choir Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm for a time of singing and fun. Refreshments to follow.
CHILDREN AND YOUTH
Children and Youth will be invited to go down to the lower hall following the Theme Conversation

Nursery will be staffed. If you could help out some Sunday, please call the church office..

Stittsville Diners Club for seniors and adults with disabilities--Third Tuesday monthly, ( Sept. 20th),12:00 noon to 2:00 pm, here at Stittsville United. Provided by the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre. Tickets are $7. Call Carol at 613-591-3686 ext. 272.

Church Office Hours: The church office is open Tuesday to Friday from 9:15 to 12:15.

Offering Envelopes --If you would like church envelopes, or to learn how to make your donations through Pre-Authorized Remittance, please see the treasurer in the church office after the service.

PAR Donation Cards are at the back of the church for those who make their offerings by Pre-Authorized Remittance, and who would like to put something on the offering plate Sunday mornings.                                                                                                                                                 

Nametags are available at the back of the church. If you would like a church nametag, please sign the list by the nametag boxes.
