Background

The owner-operated and consultant-supported firm offers a combination of expertise in the fields of chemical engineering, chemical technology, environmental engineering, pollution control and environmental management. The key to successful problem solving has been in efficient project management and progressive input to projects that require a thorough knowledge of the subject and recognition of the Client best interest. The company experts participated in projects across Canada, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa. We have had considerable experience in the team approach to project execution. The firm has successfully completed projects in association with other engineering firms, as well as with inter- disciplinary groups such as ecologists, economists, and architects. • Services

EnvironChem Engineering Consultants (ECE) possesses all resources necessary to undertake complete services which include project management and administration, site investigations and reporting, feasibility studies, pre-engineering and engineering design, contract drawings and specifications, construction management and coordination, schedules and costs, the provision of status reports, environmental permitting and liability, market and economic analysis of environmental solutions.

    Marketing

With the environmental industry in decline, finding new clients is a prerequisite to profitable operation and survival. ECE is continuously exploring the dynamics of new markets which point the way to future profitability. The marketing information is used to guide the firm's action. We have adopted a "pull" model of marketing. It begins with the customer, attempting to define what it is that the target customer segment wants and needs in products and services. The "pull" model components are as follows.

    CUSTOMERVALUE PRICECOSTSERVICE

Using this model ECE positions itself for market changes, because the focus of all activity is on the customer rather than the production process. By having an accurate assessment of customer value the company can also tailor its services through strategic alliances directly to the customer, rather than using a "one-size fits all" approach. In this way the ECE not only produces services its customers want, but captures those needs at the right price.
