Environmental Audit Phase I - audited were an oil gas station, a private property adjacent to a scrap yard, and a large public transit facility.

Remediation of Contaminated Soil and Implementation of Post Closure Monitoring Program - project for Defence Construction Canada at the former military base CFB Summerside, PEI.

Environmental Audit Phase I and Phase II - EA of the car garage and car dealership (former gas station) for the property ownership transfer. The project included removal of contaminated soil and leaking underground petroleum stotage tank.

Plume Dispersion Modelling and Evaluation of Emission Control Options - dispersion modelling of sulphur dioxide and particulate emitted from the stack of the existing boiler plant with reference to boiler operation parameters, topography, surrounding structures, and meteorological conditions.

Boiler Plant Emission Control Options - feasibility study of clean air technologies including cyclones, wet scrubbers, electrostatic precipitators, and condensing heat exchangers.

Vapour Emission Control Equipment Design - detailed design of a vapour collection and combustion system for the paperwall plant's organic solvents used in the process.

Stormwater Modelling and Runoff Control Study for an Oil Refinery - storm data entry management, model selection (ILLUDAS, SMADA and SWMM models), modelling with SWMM and data interpretation.

Hydrodynamics and Water Quality Modelling of Sydney Harbour Contaminated by PAHs and Heavy Metals - fate and chemodynamics of organic pollutants and heavy metals in an estuary were predicted with the U.S. EPA's PC-based computer models.

Identification, assssment, inventory, and development of a management plan for more than 2000 hazardous substances (products and waste) at a federal facility in Victoria, British Columbia.

Construction Waste Management Study - pre-construction site assessment, detailed construction waste audit, mitigation of potential impacts, waste management through 3Rs, and development of the reporting protocol.

Management of Waste Oil - conceptual design, preliminary cost analysis and environmental impact assessment of the waste oil reprocessing plant.

Noise Assessment and Control

Design of Noise Barriers - computer model and chart methods were used to obtain design parameters for the noise barriers for a garage/gas station, a gypsum loading facility, and crude oil tank mixers at an oil refinery.

Highway Noise Monitoring Program - continuous monitoring of 24-hour noise level in the area of a major highway at 5 km stretch scheduled for design improvements.

Noise Assessment Around the Gypsum Plant - noise surveillance in the area of gypsum loading facility and for the acoustical design of an effective earth sound barrier.
